What Is A Player Skill Video And Why Do I Need It? Not every college coach can come watch you play so the first time you “meet” them may be digitally and they will want to see you in action. A video of you performing at your position(s) is a great way for a college coach to see your athleticism and on-field skills. Players will typically post videos on sites such as YouTube and Vimeo or on player profile pages. Either way, it is very important for student-athletes serious about playing at the next level to have a professionally made video.

This video shoot is conducted at our indoor facility in Flanders, NJ. It is typically used for hitting or pitching skill videos. The finished product will be an edited video between 2 and 3 minutes. It will be a 2 angle video, showing the player from 2 different camera views (1 view is inset) so that college coaches are able to see the complete view of the player. This finished highlight video is shared online for use on profile pages or to be emailed directly to college recruiters.

This video shoot is conducted outdoors at one of our fields. It includes both defensive footage and hitting footage of the player. It is typically used for position players. The finished product will be an edited video between 2.5 and 3.5 minutes. It will be a 2 angle video, showing the player from 2 different camera views (1 view is inset) so that college coaches are able to see the complete view of the player. This finished highlight video is shared online for use on profile pages or to be emailed directly to college recruiters.

Footage supplied by the athlete can be used as well. The raw game footage of the games will be shared with you online for review. This finished highlight video is shared online for use on profile pages or to be emailed directly to college recruiters.
